Davide Tuscano
He began his singing studies in 2011 at the “F. Cilea” Conservatory of Music in Reggio Calabria. Following the victory of the “Young Male Talent” award at the “Premio Etta Limiti Opera 2013” international competition, he moved to Genoa, obtaining in 2017 the 1st level academic diploma at the “Niccolò Paganini” Conservatory of Music. ,
From 2014 he began an artistic training path by participating at the Lyric Workshop sorganized at Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto under the guidance of Maestro Maurizio Arena, debuting in 2014 the role of Ruiz in Il trovatore, in 2015 the role of Goro in Madama Butterfly and in 2016 in the role of Rodolfo in La bohème. In march 2019 he debuted the role of the Duca di Mantova in the opera Rigoletto in the production organized by the "Voce all'Opera" association in Milan.
In December2019 he obtained the 2nd level academic diploma at the Conservatory of Music“G. B. Martini” of Bologna. ,
He carries out an intense concert activity, also starting a collaboration with the "Luciano Pavarotti Foundation". ,
In march 2021 he was admitted to the Academy of high specialization and professional insertion for opera singers at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, which ended with his debut in the role of Nemorino in the opera L’elisir d'amore. In october 2021 he was the winner of the illustrious "Lucia Valentini Terrani" scholarship at the “Iris Adami Corradetti” International Opera Competition. In april 2022 during Callas Festival in Zevio(VR), he was Rodolfo in La bohème, under the guidance of Maestro Gaetano Soliman. In june 2022 he won the role of Tebaldo in the Bellini’s masterpiece I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the International Competition for singers “Toti Dal Monte”. In the same period, he was finalist at the 58° International Competition “Voci Verdiane” in Busseto.
He has been part of the Donizetti Project Bastarda! at La Monnaie inBruxelles and he has debuted in Tokyo as Rodolfo in La bohème next to Angela Gheorghiu.
He’ll soon be Tebaldo in Capuleti e Montecchi in Toulon.
