Samuele Simoncini

He studied at the R. Franci Institute in Siena under the guidance of Anastasia Tomaszewska Schepis. At the Accademia Musicale Chigiana he is a pupil of Raina Kabaivanska and attends the Academy at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa and the Maggio Musicale Academy in Florence.

At Maggio he made his debut in lyric roles like Rinuccio in GianniSchicchi, Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia (directed by Damiano Michieletto), Belfiore in La Finta Giardiniera. He then sings at Teatro Regio in Parma in Oedipus Rex conducted by Bruno Bartoletti, as well as various side roles at the Verdi Festival. For Circuito Lombardo he was Goro in Madama Butterfly and Ernesto in Don Pasquale

He also sang assolo tenor in Messa Solenne by Cherubini conducted by M° Riccardo Muti.

In the last yearhe studies with mezzo Laura Brioli, with whom he moves towards a lyric/dramatic repertoire.

He made his debut at the Regio di Torino as Manrico in Trovatore conducted by Pinchas Steinberg, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana in the Circuito Lombardo, among his commitments Forza del destino in Piacenza, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Andrea Chenier in Modena, Parma and Ravenna, the debut at the Verona Arena as Radames, Carmen at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Aida in the AsLiCo Circuit, Iris in Berlin, Turandot at the Regio di Parma, in Modena and in Piacenza.

Among his recent and future engagements: Carmen in Florence, Aida in Cremona, Turandot in Parma, Iris in Berlin, Turandot in Modena, Tabarro and La Gioconda in Verona then during the summer season at Arena di Verona as Ismaele, Radames, Canio, his debut at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv as Canio and the debut at the Royal Danish Opera in Aida, Macbeth in Nice, Tabarro again in Turin, Turandot in Rimini, Tosca in Angers, il Piccolo Marat in Livorno and Nantes.
