Lodovico Ravizza

He began his musical studies as a child at the school that formed "Pueri Cantores" of the Music Chapel of the Milan Cathedral. In 2016 he began to study lyric singing privately with the bass Giuseppe Nicodemo and in 2019 he entered as first in ranking at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milano in the class of Silvana Manga.

He is the only baritone admitted to the first edition of Bottega Donizetti 2021, where he studies with Alex Esposito, Michele D’Elia, Francesco Micheli, M° Riccardo Frizza, Damiano Michieletto.

He is the winner of the 73rd ASLICO Competition (2022) in the emerging category and attends masterclasses with Roberto De Candia, Marco Vinco, Yolanda Auyanet, Francesca Sassu, Jacopo Brusa, Hana Lee, Alessandro Trebeschi, Stefano De Luca.

He won the Third prize in the 21th Ottavio Ziino International Lyric Competition. He is admitted in 2022 at Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and attends masterclasses with Eva Mei, Michele D’Elia, Giulio Zappa, V. Spatola, R. Barker.

He made his debut in opera as Alidoro in a reduction of La Cenerentola (Rossini) in 2018. He is Ping in Turandot (reduction) for Europa InCanto for 54 performances,

He is Belcore in L’elisir d’amore at Teatro Sociale di Como in 2022. He is the cover of Alphonse XI in La Favorite (Donizetti) at Donizetti Festival 2022 (Conductor M° R. Frizza), cover of Rodrigo in Don Carlo (Verdi) at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (2022) under the baton of M° Daniele Gatti.

Recently he debuted in Carmen (Z. Metha), then he will be Eduardo in Alfredo il Grande at Donizetti Festival 2023 and he will debut at La Scala in Le nozze di Figaro. During the 2024 he will sing L’elisir d’amore in Parma and Madama Butterfly in Palermo.
