Alexandra Grigoras
Born in Romania in 1992, she studied at the L. Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, where she graduated brilliantly.
In 2015 she made her debut as Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro at the Auditorium in Tenerife and the following year she was once again Contessa at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
Winner of several competitions, such as the International Competition Ferruccio Tagliavini, the Competition for young lyric voices Flaviano Labò and the AsLiCo Competition, she participated to the Masterclasses with Mariella Devia, Stefania Bonfadelli and Mirella Freni.
Among recent engagements, Simon Boccanegra in Piacenza and her debut at Teatro Verdi in Trieste as Tatjana in Evgeny Onegin, Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims in Tenerife, Liù in Turandot in Palermo and Tenerife, Violetta in La Traviata in the Circuito Toscano.
She has sung Mimì in La bohème in a new production by Hugo de Ana at Teatro Petruzzelli theatre in Bari, then for her Teatro Colòn debut in March 2022 and for Glynbdebourne tour in the fall of 2022.
