Alessio Cacciamani
Alessio Cacciamani, one of the most interesting bass voices at the moment, starts his musical studies at early age. At child age, he is member of the “Cappella Musicale Pontificia Sistina” Choir, taking part in copious concerts and recordings. On 2008 he graduates in Bassoon Studies at “Licinio Refice” Conservatory in Frosinone. Following to this, on the 2010 he completes the second level two year period school in Bassoon at “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome and keeps on improving himself with Francesco Bossone, First Bassonist at orchestra of “Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia”. As bassoonist, he works all over Italy in many concert productions both chamber and orchestral. In the meantime, he starts to study opera singing with Teresa Rocchino and on 2016 he completes the Bachelor of Art in Singing with highest-grade at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the city where he also experiences his first debut as soloist, The Commendatore in Don Giovanni. On the 2015 and 2016 he is part of the Opera Studio at Basel’s Theatre. After that, he begins to improve and study the repertoire with Roberto Scandiuzzi.In 2016 his career begin officially: he performs the Gran Sacerdote di Belo in Nabucco at Terme di Caracalla in Rome. He concludes the year singing Sam in Ballo in Maschera at Teatro Costanzi in Rome. In 2017 he will be Biterolf in Tannhäuser and Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor both at the Teatro della Fenice in Venice. On the same year he is firstly in the cast of the Susanna’ Secret debut in Trieste, secondly again in Rome in the Nabucco production. Next to this he performs in Il Viaggio a Reims in Barcelona and then he is Sparafucile in Rigoletto for Opera Lombardia. In 2018, Alessio debuts as Ramfis in Aida in Stockholm and as Don Alfonso in Così Fan Tutte in Trieste. He is then in Genoa giving his voice to Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor and he is again in AIDA in Stockholm. In 2019 he is still in Stockholm and debuts as Escamillo in Carmen, then Ramfis in AIDA both in Terme Caracalla Rome and Arena di Verona. Moreover he is Sparafucile in Rigoletto in Xi’an, China. It came his time to debut as Procida in Les Vêpres Siciliennes in Rome, theatre opening season directed by Maestro Daniele Gatti. In 2020 he is in Rome, performing Capellio in I Capuleti e i Montecchi. Later he sings Il piccolo Marat by Mascagni at Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. He takes part then in two productions at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence: firstly as Zaccaria in Nabucco with Placido Domingo and secondly as Lodovico in Otello directed by Maestro Zubin Mehta. In 2021, he debuts as Colline in Boheme at Teatro Regio di Torino directed by Maestro Daniel Oren, then he is Sparafucile in Rigoletto in Florence under Davide Livermore direction and he is Ramfis in Aida at the Macerata Opera Festival. In November he is back on stage with Bianca and Fernando Bellini’s opera in Genoa. In 2022 he has a lot of debuts. The first is in Genoa in Anna Bolena as Enrico VIII, then in Attila, title role, at Teatro delle Muse in Ancona. During the summer, he sings Ramfis again in Stockholm and in Finland, at Savonlinna Opera Festival. In 2023 he sings Sparafucile in concert at Politeama theatre in Naples, then he debuts as Wurm in Luisa Miller in Angers, Rennes and Nantes, later he comes back in Genoa for Oroveso in Norma. Then, again in Naples for La Bohème, in the role of Colline.
