Alessio Arduini was born in Desenzano del Garda and lives in Vienna. He graduated in management engineering and studied singing with Vincenzo Rose. In 2010, he received a scholarship from the Fondazione Lina Aimaro Bertasi, won the Salice d'oro competition, the International Marie Kraja Competition in Tirana, and made his debut as the protagonist in the Pocket Opera production of Mozart's Don Giovanni produced by the Teatro Sociale di Como.

The following season saw his return to the Pocket Opera circuit of the Teatro Sociale di Como for Le nozze di Figaro (Conte d'Almaviva) and his debut at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna as the protagonist in Mozart's Don Giovanni, followed by his debut in I Puritani (Riccardo) in the theatres of the Circuito lirico lombardo and in La Bohème (Schaunard) in Lucca Pisa Livorno and Ravenna.

He then sang Mozart's Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and at the Teatro Regio in Turin, La Bohème (Schaunard) at the Teatro La Fenice, the Salzburger Festspiele, the Wiener Staatsoper and Don Giovanni in Bari (protagonist) and at the Wiener Staatsoper (Masetto and Leporello).

This was followed by his debut at the Royal Opera House in London in La Bohème (Schaunard), his return to the Teatro La Fenice in Venice with Don Giovanni (leading role) and his debut at the Teatro alla Scala as Silvano in Un ballo in maschera.

In the following years, he returned to the Wiener Staatsoper for L'elisir d'amore (Belcore), Pagliacci (Silvio), La Cenerentola (Dandini), La Clemenza di Tito (Publio), again at the Teatro La Fenice for Don Giovanni (protagonist) and at the Salzburg Festival again for Don Giovanni (Masetto)

Recent engagements include: Pagliacci (Silvio) conducted by Christian Thielemann at the Salzburg Festival, Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) in Salzburg and at the Royal Opera House, Don Giovanni (Leporello) and Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro) at the Opéra National de Paris, Don Pasquale, L'elisir d'amore in Vienna, La Bohème at the Metropolitan in New York, London, Paris and Vienna, Die Zauberflöte in Florence and Rome, Così fan tutte in Lille, in Korea, in Hamburg and in Naples with Riccardo Muti, Don Giovanni in Dresden, Rome and Venice, La Cenerentola in Paris, Vienna and Amsterdam, Le nozze di Figaro in Ravenna, Vienna and Hamburg, Don Giovanni and Manon Lescaut in Palermo, Pagliacci in Turin, Turandot in Venice and Paris, Lo sposo di tre e marito di nessuna and Roméo et Juliette in Florence, Così fan tutte, Il turco in Italy and La Bohème at La Scala.

This season: Don Giovanni in Hamburg, La Cenerentola in Nancy, Caen, Luxembourg and Reims, Roméo et Juliette at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, L'opera seria at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Turandot in Dresden.
